The EBV National Program

The EBV National Program is a novel, one-of-a-kind initiative designed to leverage the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans and their families. The aim of the program is to open the door to economic opportunity for our veterans and their families by developing their competencies in creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture.

  • The EBV Consortium represents the first major partnership of America’s schools and colleges of business since World War II, formed with the express purpose of serving military veterans
  • Named by Inc. Magazine as one of the “10 Best” entrepreneurship programs in the U.S. (2011)
  • EBV was named a “National Best Practice” for serving veterans and their families by the Secretary of the Army in 2009
  • Awarded the McGraw-Hill Prize from the Academy of Management for the most innovative entrepreneurship program implemented by U.S. business schools in 2010

About the IVMF

Located on the campus of Syracuse University, the IVMF has quickly established itself as the first interdisciplinary national institute in higher education focused on the social, economic, education and policy issues impacting veterans and their families post-service.

The EBV Foundation

The EBV Foundation supports EBV and EBV-F graduates. Its mission is to raise donations and to provide funds to the participating schools for their EBV programs. The EBV Foundation also provides mentors to participating veterans and family members to assist in the development of their business plans.
